Internal Fire Sound Bath

Call it good, or call it bad, Karma has been called both for a very long time. It is the result of strong and consistent thoughts, feelings or behaviors. All of which have an origin in our own experiences and influenced us to think, feel or behave in certain ways, the result of which we experience as karma, or the reaction of the universe to the signal we are emanating.

Whatever it is we carry within us that emanates a vibration, is our choice. Are you carrying regret? Anger? Blame? Lack? There are many different vibrations we may carry in the body or aura, and of course also in our subconscious mind. Learning the technique to activate your internal fire, is a powerful way to purify yourself and open the possibility of feeling a new way if you are willing to change and clear on your intention and pure in your intent.

You will be instructed on how to activate your internal fire, what steps to take to deepen your experience and then we will do a group sound healing to support the activation, and strengthen the experience. You will also learn how to implement it into a practice if you choose and how to apply it to different challenges.

About Julie Sceeny

Julie Sceeny is a Yoga and Pilates Intsructor and yoga teacher trainer. She has been teaching yoga for over 10 years and in the last 5 years along with her teaching she has been running teacher training courses. With 3 per year in Koh Samui Thailand and multiple Vinyasa and Yoga Trapeze teacher training course she has in excess of 20 trainings under her belt. Julie’s passion is anatomy and understanding the correct alignment of postures for your body type and structure. 

Joint Mobility and Stability – 
The focus of this workshop is to examine the shoulder hip, and knee joint. We will be looking at yoga postures and how the joints affect movement and mobility. Bone structure, muscle or ligament tightness or fascia, all affect our yoga poses. We will be examining correct alignment based on your body structure. Furthermore we will look at how tightness in one join affects movement within another joint. Finally we will examine how you stabilize the joints using the correct muscles so that the body is more balanced.

This workshop is designed for teachers and for those that may be considering taking a teacher training course. The workshop is split into 3 parts

Part 1 – Verbal Cuing
This workshop is aimed at teachers to help you improve your classes by simply changing your dialogue. The workshop has 4 elements.
1. Good verbal cuing, how to choose the best words to use and the overuse non- action words which make for ineffective teaching.
2. How your verbal cuing affects students postures.
Understanding the alignment of a posture and how to cue it effectively so that everyone is in a safe position. One cue does not work for all bodies.
3. Understanding tone and the power of your voice and how to use your voice properly in order to improve your classes.
4. How to save your voice as an instructor

Part 2 - Hands on Adjustments –
The Majority of students love being adjusted but understanding how to do this in a professional manner is key to the success of your classes.
1. How to adjust is a respectful and safe manner.
2. Knowing where and how to touch and what postures it’s appropriate.
3. Understanding your height and strength can affect adjustments.
We will finish this workshop with headstand how to teach it to first timers and how and why you should not use a wall.

Part 3 - Anatomy
1. Understanding students body postures and how it affects alignment in yoga poses.
2. Examining muscles and joint tightness and looking at how that affects postures
3. Anatomy of a yoga pose, what is meant to be happening, what are the right muscles to contract to protect a joint and get full benefit from a pose.
4. How can anatomy improve my teaching? Learn this and much more
5. Muscle contraction and what is the actual movement and contraction that should happen during a posture.
6. Why do students feel poses differently, ie some in their leg some in their shoulders etc and what does this mean.

My Yoga Journey began only in 2010 it has been a journey. Wonderful and full of surprises. I opened the first location of Breeze Yoga in 2015 and the second location in 2017. I am a E-RYT-500 hr instructor with over 4K hours of teaching behind me. I was originally certified to teach Hot Power Flow and since then have been certified to teach Pre + Postnatal, Kids Yoga, Aerial Yoga, Acro Yoga, Yin, Restorative, Yoga Nidra, and Chair Yoga. My Journey has led to me to expand my teaching to Aerial Yoga Teacher Trainings through Encompass Aerial Yoga as well as 200 hr Vinyasa Teacher Trainings. I look forward to our paths crossing. Sound, Scent and Movement - A Journey through the Chakras

Join us for an exploration of the Chakras through the use of gentle movement Yoga, Sound Therapy and Essential oils!

We begin with a brief introduction to the chakras and the roles they play in our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual experiences, followed by an opening meditation. 
You will then be guided by Gail through a sequence of gentle yoga poses to open the area of the body each chakra resides in, followed by a rest in shavasana pose and offered an essential oil to help open the chakras further while immersed in sound from gongs, Tibetan and crystal bowls and more to further deepen your experience and release.

About sound

Sound is a key to unlocking the doors of our inner perception, bringing us deep within and exploring our inner worlds. For each chakra we will be using different instruments and sounds that produce frequencies to entice the chakra to activate and open. This can promote healing and release on an emotional as well as physical level. As the chakra is opened, it will begin to release and will seek balance and harmony with your energy system. 


About essential oils and chakras

The use of essential oils to produce a response in the chakras is based on the subtle vibrations the oils give off when used in the body, it changes our energetic vibration and certain oils will affect a particular chakra. The oil will stimulate the chakra and promote optimal vibration through the release of emotional/energetic attachments.


About Yoga and chakras

The inclusion of breath and intention with specific Yoga poses(Asanas) and sequence of movement for each Chakra is a powerful way to connect with ourselves. This combination brings us to a relaxed and internally aware state of consciousness where we can clearly connect with our chakras.

All that is involved is using the fingers to tap on points around the face and shoulders. Simple… but so powerful!

What Can You Expect from this Workshop?
We’ll cover basics of EFT tapping – what exactly it is, how it came to be, and what kinds of issues it can be used on (spoiler alert – almost anything!!!). You’ll also learn to do simple EFT techniques on yourself and get helpful tips for achieving more profound results. This is hands-on, so come prepared to get comfy with tapping!

Join Gail Collins for this fun workshop of arm balancing to help turn your life upside down! It’s fun to do fun tricks in yoga but most importantly you need to gain the body awareness and strength to get there safely. In this Part 1 of 2 series you will learn basic postural breakdown in order to gain the most out of your yoga practice. 
In order to safely move forward into more advanced inversions it’s paramount to build the required strength. In this workshop we will fine tune specific postures to help us move forward. We will explore beginner inversions and different ways to enter these poses safely so that we build that muscle memory! 
Part 1 is not required to move to Part 2 but encouraged. 
If you feel confident in some basic inversions you may take just the second portion of the workshop.

Take that yogi strength to new heights!

Pole dance and fitness, a newly official recognized sport by the Olympic committee, has made its way into mainstream fitness centres. Pole draws on many influences including gymnastics, Chinese pole and circus arts, and contemporary dance, to name a few. In Intro to Pole, we learn how to use the pole as both a dance partner and strength trainer, working on coordination, upper body strength, and core engagement.

Aerial Hoop is most widely recognized for its circus origins. In Intro to Hoop, we focus on building the technique and strength needed to mount the suspended apparatus. Learning how to properly mount and dismount is key to progressing safely. Intro to Hoop will also introduce moves and tricks inside the apparatus. Don't be alarmed if you get to go upside down!

Workshop will be split into 45 minutes of Pole and 45 minutes of Aerial Hoop.

Please bring a pair of leggings/yoga pants and shorts.

Cold Moon Sound Bath with Ascension Healing

The full moon ceremony will begin by setting the intention to release with the inclusion of the feeling of gratitude. What you release is up to you. The full moon can be a powerful time to let go of the old and connecting deeply with ourselves with a feeling of gratitude and an intention can be a powerful way to shift our inner worlds to impact the outer reality.


Sound Healing works by leading us into a relaxed and deep inner awareness akin to a deep state of meditation. The vibrations from the instruments sooth the body and encourage the release of tension and ease physical pain and discomfort. Our energy centers become stimulated and begin to release emotional content from past experiences and traumas from the body. 

At a Sacred Sounds event, through the use of Sound, we enter into our inner worlds in a group setting. This can have tremendous benefits for us on many levels, from stress relief to emotional release and spiritual experiences.

The layout of a Gong Bath group session is an introduction to sound and explaining how it works, some tips on how to make the experience as deep for you as it can be, and some quiet reflection time at the end of the session. During the session, you can sit, however it is recommended to lay down so bring a yoga mat/blanket and maybe a small pillow if you need one. Most importantly of all, Enjoy the experience!

You will be guided through a brief self-discovery process to help focus your intention for releasing blocks, and then we will combine our healing abilities as we support one individual’s tapping session.  We’ll all tap together throughout the process, and then re-evaluate our initial intentions to see how we’ve released emotional baggage, effortlessly!  Join us in this sacred space as we open up to receive more real love.
